A Town Remembers (Volume 3, Part 1)
£15.00
Description
This book, in two parts, aims to give recognition to all those who gave their lives in either the First or Second World Wars but who, for a wide variety of reasons, did not have their names put forward to be engraved on the Boston Cenotaph.
This roll of honour brings those men to life, with details such as the regiment they served in, their ages when they died, the circumstances of their death along with a little something of their own families, parents’ livelihoods, sibling, etc. In many instances the author, William Hunt, has managed to include photographs too.
