Stickford, a parish of about 400 people, is situated on the A16 north of Boston, at the foot of the Lincolnshire Wolds.

In this book, written to commemorate the centenary of the Great War, Stickford Local History Group enlightens readers about the lives and deaths of Stickford men who went to war between 1914 and 1918. Those researched include Stickford men who answered the call to defend King and Country and are named on the Clock Tower War Memorial, the War Memorial and the Roll of Honour in St Helen’s Church along with those named in Stickford Parish Council Minutes.

Stickford Local History Group was founded in 2000 with the aim being to preserve, record and promote the knowledge of the parish of Stickford, Lincolnshire and the surrounding parishes.  This is their fourth published book.
