Lincolnshire Air War – Lancaster PB476

The story of RAF Bomber Command’s 12 Squadron Lancaster and tells the tragic story of Avro Lancaster PB476, call sign ‘Y’ and the Luftwaffe’s final large scale attack on England named Operation Gisela.  A crew of seven young men took part in their final training for bombing missions.  They took off for their last operation from RAF Wickenby in Lincolnshire on the night of 3^rd March 1945.  It would sadly end in the Lincolnshire Wolds between Alford and Spilsby.

This book was written to keep the story alive and any profit from sales goes to RAFBF.
