Description
A second collection of poems that reflects the author’s Lincolnshire roots and the love he has for the county, as well as a light hearted look at life.
Many local areas and sights as well as memories are mentioned and it is beautifully illustrated with photographs of Lincolnshire landscapes, flora and fauna. More of the poems in this volume are about nature but there are some places mentioned such as: Gibraltar Point and Lincoln Cathedral.
Dick Heath, the author, was born to a farming family in Faldingworth in the 1930s. He helped on the farm but also trained as a mechanic and is still very interested in Classic Cars as well as the history of Lincolnshire and his family’s history. He is married with four children and four grandchildren.
