Where Brook and River Meet
£2.23 – £10.50
Description
A true account of almost the first twenty years of the author’s life, the adventures of childhood, excitements of growing up and her teenage years (1944 to 1963). Although this book reflects life with garden fetes, trips to the coast and local theatricals in the village of Nettleham and the City of Lincoln it could have been mirrored in many villages and towns throughout much of England.
From October 1993 to January 1994 this book was read by Sue herself as a serial on Radio Lincolnshire. It was received with great interest as it recalled life as it really was without the all too frequent additives of sex and violence.
