Hackthorn, Snitterby, Anwick, Bardney, Horncastle, Woodhall Spa, Market Rasen, Sutterton. 

Author, Fred Dobson, born in 1913 was educated both in and out of school, in Minting, Wragby and Saxilby where the everyday speech of almost everyone was in the dialect of mid-Lincolnshire. Cartoonist, John Blundy, lived for many years in Boston and also illustrated Lincolnshire Folk and other Richard Kay Publications.
