This, the sixth booklet in the series, focuses upon the buildings and structures which have featured from the middle Iron Age to the early 21^stcentury.  The area explored includes Eastgate, Nettleham Road, Bunker’s Hill, Wragby Road, Greetwell Road, Sewell Road, Lindum Terrace and Pottergate. This adjoins those districts in earlier volumes ? Uphill Lincoln I and Monk’s Road.  Chapters include explorations of the districts Roman occupation; mining and quarrying in the neighbourhood; the building of Lincoln Prison and the County Hospital; the district’s schools and places of worship.  Residential development ranging from grand residences to the pioneering Giles’ housing development is also emphasised.
