A letter from France: Poems and stories of World War One
£6.50
Description
Inspired by years of studying the history of World War One, together with regular visits to the Western Front and suggestions for topics on the Great War forum website, these poems have been written over a number of years.
Essentially this book is a personal tribute to those who served, those who came home and sadly those who did not, including members of my family. In particular the author’s uncle Frederick Charles Nutkins, Machine Gun Corps, who was killed in action near Kruistraat, South of Ypres, in May 1918.
