The Royal Navy in Lincolnshire

With no naval ports in the county there is nevertheless a considerable naval association.  This book briefly covers the recorded naval associations of the county since before there was a Royal Navy until the 1990s.

All the following are mentioned in the text: Matthew Flinders, Bass, Banks and Australia; Franklin and the North West Passage; HMS Lincoln, Grimsby, Wrangle, Brocklesby and others; HMS Royal Arthur was ‘sunk’ many times during the last war (a training camp at Skegness) and much more.

Please note: The price reflects the time passed since printing.  There are very few copies left and the dust covers may be curled or damaged however the content is perfect.
