Lincolnshire has a great wealth of stories from the past and a fascinating folklore.  These are tales from this rich treasury.  Some are ancient legends involving monstrous dragons, witches, giants and boggarts.  Others bring to life moments of drama and mystery, of romance and courage.  Traditional customs have their place too as have the famous and infamous characters from days gone by.
