Description
An autobiographical account of a true ‘Lincolnshire Yellow-belly’, born in 1925 in Tattershall, as the second son of the Vicar there. From his early upbringing in Tattershall, preparatory school in Woodhall Spa to joining the RAF in early 1943.
Some 90% of the book covers his widely varied and interesting career in the General Duties branch from command of a fighter squadron to Air Force attache in Finland, Sweden and Japan.
