All Things Lincolnshire

£15.00

Description

David Norman Robinson OBE MSc was born in Horncastle in August 1927.  He was educated at Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School and went on to graduate from Nottingham University with an honours degree in geography.  He gained his MSc with a thesis on the coastal evolution of north-east Lincolnshire.

This book is a festschrift in his honour to mark his 80th birthday in August 2007.  Contributions cover a wide range from folklore to geology, literature to archaeology and is an acknowledgment of the wide diversity of David’s interests and expertise.  He became a household name in the county through his long association with the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust.  His wide interests and influence spread into heritage and history and his support and encouragement for other researchers is greatly valued and appreciated.

Please note the RRP for this book is £25 but I have now reduced to just £15 .  Effectively this is the same as 10% discount off the book and p&p free 🙂
