For over 900 years Lincoln Cathedral has stood as a powerful witness to the Christian faith.  It was the power of this faith which drove medieval men to build this wonderful building.  As they built, as they carved the stone, created works of art in stained glass, wood and metal, and composed sacred music, they enshrined the deeper meaning of their (and our) faith into the building.
