This 78 pg A4 loose leaf, ring bound book gives a comprehensive history of the village. Although only a small settlement the population recorded in 1851 was 427 and in 2002 only 400 - archaeological records show people first frequented Stickford as long as 10,000 years ago.
Each chapter has been thoroughly researched and cover Stickford at War, Religion, Farming, Transport, Education and Archaeology as well as the Buildings and Natural History of Stickford. The final chapter looks at Celebrations and Leisure in the village. It is illustrated with photographs and reproductions of documents throughout bringing the words about this village to life for the reader.
